General
✦I reserve the right to decline any commission request. I reserve the right to cancel a commission and issue a refund due to unforeseen circumstances or inappropriate behavior from the client.
✦As the artist, I retain all rights to the artwork, including the right to display it on my portfolio, social media, and other platforms.
✦The client may not reproduce, resell, or redistribute the artwork without my permission.
✦The client is allowed to use the commissioned artwork for personal use, such as printing, display on social media (with proper credit), etc.
✦No sexually explicit, fetishistic, or offensive content.
✦Before finalizing any agreement, the client should clearly outline the commission's details to the best of their ability. Please share adequate references depicting the environment, poses, color preferences, or notes about your character before starting. Additionally, provide a link to a Google Drive or Dropbox folder with all the mentioned references. Specify if the commission has a time constraint, as it could impact my decision to accept.Refunds
✦If the commission is canceled before work has begun, a full refund will be provided.
✦I do not offer full refunds if I have already started on the illustration. Unless I, the artist, want to cancel the commission, I will refund around 90% (due to the transaction fee)
✦No refunds will be given once the commission is completed.Communication
✦I will communicate with clients primarily via email or any social media I have @deerynaa. Please provide an email address or contact information for regular updates. Clients are expected to respond to requests for feedback within 48 hours to ensure a smooth workflow. If the client doesn't respond to a message or update status from me for more than one month, the commission will be revoked.Commercial Use Policy
All commission prices are for personal use only. If you intend to use the artwork commercially, additional fees will apply based on the type of use:✦Commercial (Social Media & Branding) - For use as profile pictures, banners, promotional posts, or any form of personal/business branding on social media or websites — an additional 80% of the original price will be charged.
✦Commercial (Merchandise, Resale & Products) - For use in merchandise, prints, resale items, or any product that generates direct income — an additional 100% of the original price will be charged.Please inform me beforehand if you intend to use the artwork commercially. Failure to do so may result in cancellation or refusal of service.Revisions
✦For rendered illustration commissions, I will send you an initial draft sketch before I begin rendering. Any edits can be requested at this time.
✦Max to 5 revisions for the sketch and 1 modification is given for the final piece. -- please specify at which points you would like these updates if you request them in advance. You are free to ask for status updates of your commission at any time as well. When I finish the artwork, I will send you the final piece to confirm there are no missing or incorrect details before marking the commission as complete. Minor edits can be requested at this time, but major changes requested after the piece's completion may incur additional fees.Deadline and Delivery
✦Maximum turnaround time is generally 2 months for rendered illustrations, 1 month for sketch commissions from the date the first payment is made, depending on the project and availability.
✦Initial sketch will be delivered within 2 weeks.Upon Acceptance
✦Final files will be delivered via Google Drive/ Email in full-resolution, PNG format. I will not provide the PSD file unless requested.
✦I may take creative liberties in my interpretation and rendition of characters, and the final product may not be 100% accurate to references given unless specifics are made.
✦Commissioned pieces are non-refundable once completed. If requested, a partial refund will be issued based on the progress of the piece.
✦I’ll add my signature to the finished product to prevent my art from being stolen. Let me know if you want the signature to be hidden so it doesn't interrupt the artwork.Payment✦Currency :
I accept payments in US Dollars (USD) for international clients and Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) for local clients.✦Payment Method:
USD payments can be made via Paypal. Use this https://paypal.me/deerynaa for a direct transfer to the artist's PayPal account.
MYR payments can be made through direct bank transfer or other local methods. I’ll provide my bank account or qr code.✦Payments can be made either 100% upfront or 50% upfront and the remaining 50% before delivery.By commissioning me, you agree to these terms and conditions.
